Plush, burnished, and gently spiced, Gilded Pod is a Gourmand–Warm Extrait de Parfum inspired by BDK Parfums Vanille Caviar. Cardamom and cocoa bean melt into deep Madagascar vanilla, layered and dark rather than sugary — velvety, comforting, and sophisticated.

The fragrance opens with blackcurrant bud, cardamom, and calamus, a green, cool-spiced lift. At the heart, vanilla caviar, cocoa bean, and osmanthus unfold into a luxe, edible elegance. As it settles, Madagascar vanilla, Peru balsam, and labdanum draw the composition into a creamy, resinous finish.

Our fragrances have great staying power because we use Parfum Extrait in our formulations. Parfum Extrait is a highly concentrated perfume oil, with a fragrance concentration of anywhere from 30% to 40%.

    Oily strange for me can't distingue the sent ,seems more Oily for me i like things like fresh or spicy maybe this one not my favourite

    Not your typical vanilla

    This a dry vanilla, not sweet, almost smoky but just a hint. It is sexy and dark. I would not say it is feminine leaning. Definitely not a girly girl. You need a strong personality to pull this off. A man could pull this off very well. I love it!!

    Fragrant body cream

    The best way to describe this would be to imagine a natural Cocoa Shea Butter in perfume form. Take away any sugary or heavy gourmand like sweetness and substitute it with a very naturalistic vanilla extract and a dry cocoa powder. Unique in a sense but simple, Gilded Pod in my opinion is suited best for base layering with other fragrances but as a standalone it's just a pleasantly neutral but resinous vanilla fragrance.
