Cool, smoky, and sharpened by saffron, Aura of Iron is an Oud–Fresh Extrait de Parfum inspired by Initio Parfums Privés Oud For Greatness Neo. Dark oud meets a clean slice of bergamot, then drifts into fir balsam like a snow-lit forest — commanding, cinematic, and impossible to overlook.

The fragrance opens with oud and bergamot, an instant clash of dark and bright. At the heart, lavender Orpur and saffron unfold into a bold, herbaceous glow that sharpens the oud's edge. As it settles, fir balsam and musk draw it close, leaving a rich, resinous trail with serious projection.

    I didn’t have any reference for the original fragrance. I bought this purely because the color of the bottle is my favorite red, the name, and the description. I moved onto the notes and I got slightly cold feet. HOWEVER, I’m 100% so glad I took the leap. This scent while yes is masculine, it’s not overly masculine. I would consider this a unisex scent. The description of cinematic “like wearing polished armour” is fucking spot on. It has intensity but it’s not overpowering. My skin definitely projects more saffron with it, but after about 20ish mins I’m really getting the smoky oud and lavender in it. Truly I didn’t get much bergamot? But I’m okay with that. This was EXACTLY the deeper layer I was looking for to go underneath white fig and Terrawood. It’s you like smoky and spicy yet aromatic and soft while feeling sexy?… do it. DO. IT.

    A man's manly fragrance. I like it better than the original and better than the non Neo version of the original. Another fall fragrance.
